by Breaking Local News Report

ELLIOTT ISLAND, Md. — The Maryland Natural Resources Police (NRP) and multiple agencies are searching for Kevin Gavin, 65, of Timonium, who was reported missing after last being seen boating in the Elliott Island area on the morning of December 8.

Authorities say Gavin was operating a green 16-foot Sea Nymph jon boat when he went missing. The vessel was discovered on December 10 in Fishing Bay, but there has been no sign of the boater.

NRP officials describe Gavin as a 65-year-old Caucasian male with short gray hair. Search efforts have been ongoing in the waters around Elliott Island and Fishing Bay, with teams using both aerial and marine resources.

Anyone with details on Gavin’s whereabouts or who may have seen the vessel is asked to contact Maryland Natural Resources Police at 410-260-8888.

Search crews are racing against time as they continue efforts in the expansive waterways of the region.
