Gunfire damages vehicles in Severn

SEVERN, Md. — Anne Arundel County Police are investigating an early morning shooting in the 1700 block of Meade Village Circle where multiple vehicles were struck by gunfire, officials said Thursday.

Officers responded to the scene around 1:45 a.m. after receiving multiple calls reporting gunshots. Upon arrival, they found several spent shell casings on the ground and three vehicles damaged by bullets.

A witness told police they saw a group of individuals dressed in all dark clothing running from the area after the shots were fired.

No injuries have been reported, and no suspects have been apprehended as of Thursday morning.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the shooting and search for those involved.
