Armed suspects rob Glen Burnie restaurant, flee in SUV

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Police are investigating an armed robbery at Cerritos Restaurant on Ritchie Highway, where two suspects held up the business and an employee at gunpoint before fleeing the scene.

The incident occurred on December 29, 2024, at approximately 7:10 p.m., when two male suspects entered the restaurant at 7559 Ritchie Highway. Armed with handguns, they demanded cash and property from the business and one employee.

The suspects fled in a dark SUV before officers arrived. Despite a search of the surrounding area, police were unable to locate the suspects or the vehicle.

The suspects were described as one male wearing a tan jacket and tan pants, and another male wearing a blue jacket and dark pants.
