PHILADELPHIA, PA — A man was injured in an early morning shooting on a Philadelphia highway Tuesday, according to police.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:21 a.m. on the 300 block of East Rockland Street in the city’s 25th District. Officers responding to the scene found a 47-year-old male who had been shot once in the right foot.
The victim was transported by Medic 45 to Temple University Hospital, where he was placed in stable condition.
Authorities held the scene for investigation but reported no arrests, no recovery of weapons, and no identified motive as of yet.
