Buffalo police arrest suspect in double murder on St. Louis Place

Buffalo police continue their investigation into the violent crime that left two men dead.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo police have arrested a suspect in connection with a double homicide that occurred Tuesday on St. Louis Place.

On Friday, officers responded to a knife call at 5 St. Louis Place, where they encountered a man who began cutting himself. The man dropped the knife and was taken into custody before being transported to Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) under supervision.

Inside the residence, officers discovered two bodies. The Erie County Medical Examiner determined both victims died from blunt force trauma.

Following an investigation, police arrested Bryan Chiclana, 34, who has no permanent address, after he was medically discharged from ECMC. He has been charged with one count of first-degree murder and two counts of second-degree murder.

The victims were identified as 37-year-old Jordan Celotto and 40-year-old Michael Harmon.
