by Breaking Local News Report

EDGEWOOD, Md. — A fire at an auto dealership and repair shop in Harford County caused an estimated $2 million in damage Saturday afternoon, officials said.

Firefighters responded at 2:52 p.m. to Ez Car Plus, a single-story dealership and repair shop located at 2715 Pulaski Highway. The fire, which started in the auto repair section, was discovered by an employee.

Around 50 firefighters from the Abingdon Volunteer Fire Company worked for 30 minutes to bring the blaze under control. One employee was transported with non-life-threatening injuries.

The building had no smoke alarms, fire alarms, or sprinklers, according to investigators. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
