Phil Murphy’s Reaction to Trump Policy is Unhinged Says Candidate for New Jersey Governor

TRENTON, N.J. — New Jersey media personality and political commentator Bill Spadea took to social media this week to defend President Donald Trump and criticize Gov. Phil Murphy, calling the governor “unhinged” in response to Trump’s recent policy actions.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Spadea wrote, “Watching left wing radicals like @GovMurphy become unhinged over @realDonaldTrump’s smart, effective and necessary policy moves is satisfying and rewarding.” He continued, “The President is acting on the mandate he received from the American people. He’s saving America from the bad actors who put America last and he is repairing the damage caused over the last four years.”

“President Trump’s directive to dismantle the @usedgov is unconscionable and unconstitutional. The Trump Administration is going out of its way to create chaos and raise costs for our nation’s families. We will do everything in our power to protect New Jersey’s students,” Phil Murphy said in a statement.

Spadea concluded his post by writing, “God saved President Trump so he could save America.”

The post comes amid renewed political clashes following Trump’s address to Congress, which drew a sharp rebuke from Gov. Murphy, who expressed concern about the direction of the country.

Spadea, a former TV host and outspoken conservative figure in New Jersey, has been a frequent critic of Murphy’s administration and has positioned himself as a staunch ally of Trump.
