TOMS RIVER, NJ — Two Ocean County residents were arrested Tuesday and charged in connection with a child pornography distribution and manufacturing conspiracy, following a multi-agency investigation that began with a cyber tip from a national child protection organization.
Logan Oliveira, 23, of Toms River, was charged with distribution and possession of child pornography, as well as conspiracy to manufacture child pornography. Julianna Goldstein, 20, of Berkeley Township, faces additional charges including manufacturing child pornography, conspiracy to manufacture, and criminal sexual contact, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced.

The investigation was triggered by a cyber-tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, received by the New Jersey State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. The tip led to the identification of a cell phone number tied to Oliveira’s Toms River residence as the source of uploaded illegal content.
Authorities say Oliveira exchanged messages with Goldstein, who allegedly sent him explicit images of juveniles. Prosecutors allege that Goldstein was directed by Oliveira to engage in sexual contact with a juvenile and transmit photos of the act.
Digital forensic evidence recovered during search
Search warrants were executed April 29 at the residences of both defendants by members of the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Unit, the Ocean County Regional SWAT Team, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations. Toms River and Berkeley Township police also assisted.
Forensic analysis of digital devices recovered from both homes uncovered several items of child pornography. Oliveira and Goldstein were both taken into custody without incident and transported to the Ocean County Jail.
The case remains under investigation, with both suspects awaiting detention hearings. No further details about the victims have been released.
