Cruisin’ downtown returns to toms river with vintage cars and summer festivities

TOMS RIVER, N.J. — Cruisin’ Downtown, the annual summer car show series, is set to roll back into Toms River this month, transforming downtown streets into a retro celebration of classic cars, music, and local flair.

The event, held on the second Wednesday of June, July, and August, draws crowds of car enthusiasts, families, and visitors eager to view an array of vintage vehicles and pre-1997 models. The gathering features everything from gleaming hot rods to restored muscle cars, creating a showcase of automotive history in motion.

Cruisin’ Downtown is more than a car show—it serves as a community event, with live music performances, outdoor vendors, and local businesses extending hours to accommodate the influx of attendees.
