NEW JERSEY — Former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Giudice, who was deported following a federal prison sentence, took to social media Thursday to appeal directly to former President Donald Trump for a pardon that would allow him to return to the United States.
In a post on Instagram, Giudice described how he has been living outside the country for nearly a decade since completing his sentence, which involved fraud-related charges. He said he was raised in New Jersey and is a father of four daughters, sharing a family photo to highlight his appeal.
Giudice specifically tagged Trump and Donald Trump Jr. in the post, asking for what he described as a “second chance” so he could visit his children again.
The message included hashtags referencing “FamilyMatters” and “SecondChances” alongside support for Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.
Appeal reignites immigration spotlight
Giudice, a former reality television personality, was deported under immigration law due to his conviction. Under current policy, deported individuals with certain felonies generally cannot legally reenter the country without a pardon or waiver.
He stated that he served his time and simply wants permission to see his daughters in person.
Officials have not responded publicly to Giudice’s plea.
He remains outside the United States as of Thursday.
