BRONX, N.Y. — A 38-year-old food delivery worker was attacked and robbed early Saturday, May 31, while making a delivery in front of 106 East Burnside Avenue, police said.
The incident occurred around 4 a.m. when the victim was approached by two unidentified males. One of the assailants brandished a knife and slashed the man several times in the left arm before taking off with his electric bicycle, authorities said.
The bike is valued at approximately $900. After the assault and robbery, the suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction.
Emergency Medical Services responded and treated the victim at the scene for minor lacerations. He did not require hospitalization, according to officials.
Police said the two suspects are described as males with a medium complexion. No further identifying details were released.

The NYPD has not confirmed if this incident is connected to other recent delivery worker robberies in the borough. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
The victim was not publicly identified and is reportedly cooperating with investigators.
Police are reviewing area surveillance footage and asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the attackers.
