The winning ticket was sold at PRONTO LOTTO, located at 40-04 74th Street in Queens, a popular retail stop for daily lottery players in the bustling Elmhurst neighborhood. The prize was the top amount awarded in the August 22 TAKE 5 Evening drawing.

TAKE 5 drawings are held twice daily, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with numbers selected from a field of one through 39. Thursday’s winner successfully matched all five numbers in the 10:30 p.m. drawing.

Players who win TAKE 5 prizes have up to one year from the draw date to claim their winnings.
