Police investigating Minnesota Avenue shooting suspect described as armed and dangerous

Washington, DC – The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday morning in the 1700 block of Minnesota Avenue SE and is asking for the public’s help in locating the suspect.

The incident was reported at approximately 10 a.m. on September 14. Police issued a lookout for a Black male wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and a ski mask. Officials warn residents not to approach the suspect.

Anyone with information should immediately call 911 with event information or contact the Metropolitan Police Department at 202-727-9099. Anonymous tips can also be sent by text to 50411.
