Warminster man arrested in child porn case after Snapchat tip

Warminster, PA — A Bucks County man is behind bars after investigators say he uploaded and shared child sexual abuse material through a Snapchat account, leading to his arrest and detention on multiple felony charges.

The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office said it received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) alleging that a Snapchat user had saved and shared explicit images of children. Detectives identified the account owner as Kyle Binder of Harting Circle, Warminster.

A search warrant for the Snapchat account records uncovered numerous graphic images and videos involving prepubescent females. Further investigation revealed Binder also spent time at a residence on Cavalier Court in Bensalem. Bucks County and Bensalem detectives executed warrants there and seized three mobile devices linked to the account. A forensic review of the devices showed additional child sexual abuse material depicting both male and female children.

On Thursday, September 25, Binder surrendered at Bensalem Township Police Department headquarters. He has been charged with sexual abuse of children (dissemination of photos/videos), criminal use of a communication facility, and related offenses.

Binder was arraigned by District Justice Michael Gallagher and ordered held at Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10% of $500,000 bail.
