Cops investigate suspicious packages in South Jersey home

Suspicious packages investigated on Ivystone Lane in Cinnaminson found safe

CINNAMINSON, NJ – A police investigation into multiple suspicious packages on Ivystone Lane prompted a large response Monday afternoon, but authorities later determined the items posed no danger to the community.

At about 3:00 p.m. on September 29, Cinnaminson Township Police were called to a residence on the 600 block of Ivystone Lane after reports of several unusual packages. Multiple agencies, including the FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the New Jersey State Police, and the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office, assisted in the investigation.

After examining the items, officials confirmed they were safe and did not threaten residents or the surrounding area. As a precaution, the block was temporarily cordoned off while the investigation was conducted.

Police reminded residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious items by calling 911 or the department’s non-emergency line at (856) 829-6666.
