Spring Valley woman turns $10 scratch-off into $30K Mystery Multiplier win
Spring Valley, OH — A $10 ticket bought at a local market turned into a $30,000 payday for one lucky woman from Spring Valley, thanks to the Ohio Lottery’s Mystery Multiplier scratch-off game.
The winner, who has not been publicly named, purchased the ticket at Dot’s Bellbrook Market, located at 118 W. Franklin Street in Bellbrook. The scratch-off, which offers players a chance to multiply their winnings up to four times, revealed a $30,000 prize.
After mandatory state and federal tax withholdings, the woman will take home $21,862.50.
Mystery Multiplier is one of the Ohio Lottery’s popular $10 instant games, offering top prizes of up to $300,000. As of October 17, eight top prizes still remain unclaimed.
The Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $34 billion to public education statewide since 1974. Winning tickets must be claimed within 180 days of the game’s announced closing date.
