Lynwood, CA – A mother, father, and grandmother from Lynwood have been charged with murder and torture in connection with the death of 8-year-old Isaiah H., whose body was discovered last Friday inside a cooler filled with ice.
Los Angeles County prosecutors said the child endured long-term abuse before dying from his injuries.
Authorities allege the victim’s body was hidden in the cooler days after his death.

Assistant Head Deputy District Attorney Jonathan Hatami and Deputy District Attorney Mackenzie Teymouri of the Family Violence Division’s Complex Child Abuse Section are leading the prosecution. Both have extensive experience handling high-profile child abuse cases in Los Angeles County.
