Jackson township's 2025 curbside leaf collection begins monday

The Jackson Township Department of Public Works (DPW) is pleased to announce the 2025 Curbside Leaf Pick-Up Schedule. This annual service provides residents with a convenient and environmentally responsible way to dispose of leaves during the fall season.

Residents are reminded to place leaves curbside no more than one (1) week prior to their scheduled collection date. To ensure safety and efficiency, leaves must not be placed on streets or sidewalks, as this creates hazards for children walking to school, pedestrians, and motorists.

Collection Guidelines:

Leaves must be placed in a neat row at the curb — not in the roadway.
Leaves shall be no more than 10 feet from the curb. DPW equipment will not leave the roadway, and any piles beyond 10 feet will not be collected.
Do not bag leaves. Bagged leaves will not be picked up.
LEAVES ONLY. Do not mix brush, branches, or grass clippings with leaves. Mixed piles will not be collected.
No grass clippings will be accepted.
Residents are responsible for leaf removal after their scheduled pick-up date has passed.

2025 Leaf Collection Schedule:

Zones 4 & 2: Week of November 10, 2025
Zones 5 & 1: Week of November 24, 2025
Zones 3 & 7: Week of December 8, 2025
Zones 6 & 8: Week of December 22, 2025

Leaves must be placed curbside by 7:00 a.m. on the first day of your scheduled collection week.
