BALTIMORE, MD – A Baltimore mother and daughter who share a love of bingo-style scratch-offs are celebrating a $100,000 top-prize win after hitting big on the Maryland Lottery’s Bingo X10 game.
The pair discovered their windfall on November 6 after purchasing the lucky ticket at Monumental Liquors on East Monument Street.
The daughter was the first to realize the win, letting out a scream that sent her mother running into the room.

Family’s favorite game brings biggest win yet

“I knew exactly what was going on,” she said. Her daughter, still in disbelief, waited for confirmation before celebrating. “It looked like a $100,000 win to me, but I wanted my mother to tell me that I was seeing what I thought I was seeing.”

The pair’s reactions to their sudden fortune couldn’t have been more different. The daughter admitted, “I’ve hardly slept a wink,” while her mother, grinning, said, “I slept like a baby.”
The family plans to take their time deciding how to use their winnings, though they both say they’ll keep playing their favorite bingo-style games.
