Man arrested after robbing Linthicum Dunkin’ and assaulting employee

LINTHICUM, MD – A 21-year-old man was arrested Saturday night after he allegedly robbed a Dunkin’ in Linthicum and assaulted an employee before fleeing the scene on foot.

Northern District officers responded around 7:30 p.m. on November 22 to the Dunkin’ located in the 1600 block of W. Nursery Road for a report of a commercial robbery. Investigators say the suspect entered the business, physically assaulted a staff member, and forcibly removed cash from the register.

Shortly after the robbery, an officer patrolling nearby spotted a man walking along Andover Road who matched the suspect’s description. The individual was detained and positively identified by witnesses.

The suspect, identified as Omarie Jarell Reid, 21, of Linthicum Heights, was taken into custody and charged in connection with the robbery.
