Nypd searching for duo in brooklyn robbery spree targeting women

BROOKLYN, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying two men wanted in connection with a string of robberies that occurred in East New York late last month and early this month. Detectives from the 75th Precinct say the same pair is believed responsible for at least four separate incidents, each targeting women in the vicinity of Fulton Street.

The first reported robbery occurred Friday, November 28, around 7:10 p.m., near Norwood Avenue and Fulton Street. Police said a 40-year-old woman was approached by two men who demanded money before pushing her to the ground and stealing her cellphone and handbag. The pair fled into the nearby Norwood Avenue subway station. The victim sustained minor injuries but declined hospitalization.

Roughly 24 hours later, at about 7:10 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, a 35-year-old woman walking near Nichols Avenue and O’Brien Place was attacked from behind. The suspects grabbed her purse and cellphone before running off westbound on O’Brien Place. No injuries were reported.

Later that evening, at approximately 8:10 p.m., police said a 43-year-old woman was robbed in front of 168 Hale Avenue. The attackers pushed her to the ground, took her handbag, and fled toward Fulton Street.

A fourth robbery was reported on Sunday, December 7, around 8:25 p.m., near Bradford Street and Fulton Street. A 60-year-old woman told police that two men approached, demanded money, and knocked her to the ground before stealing her purse. The suspects fled west on Fulton Street. No injuries were reported.

Investigators describe the first suspect as a male with a light complexion and a ponytail, about six feet tall. The second suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion, about five feet six inches tall, last seen wearing a black face mask.
