Toledo, OH – A federal grand jury has charged four foreign nationals with illegally reentering the United States after prior deportations, according to an announcement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Ohio.

The indictments, returned December 17, charge Anastacio Escobar-Roblero, 33, of Mexico; Nixion Lopez-Peralta, 28, of Honduras; and Wilson Lux-Solis, 25, and Manuel Lux-Tum, 51, both of Guatemala, with illegal reentry of a removed alien in violation of Title 8, U.S. Code §1326. Prosecutors said the cases are separate and unrelated.

Escobar-Roblero was located in Huron, Erie County, on December 5, after previously being removed from the U.S., most recently on September 24, 2013. Lopez-Peralta was found in Toledo, Lucas County, on December 1, following a prior removal on February 10, 2020. Lux-Solis, also known as Jose Roberto Lemus-Solis, and Lux-Tum were both found in Upper Sandusky, Wyandot County, on December 10; their most recent deportations occurred in 2019 and 2016, respectively.

The arrests were the result of investigations conducted by the U.S. Border Patrol’s Sandusky Bay Station. The cases are being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Matthew Simko and Frank Spryszak.
