Police search for missing Logan Township man last seen driving black Jeep

December 31, 2025

LOGAN TOWNSHIP, NJ – Authorities are searching for 72-year-old Stephen Iannotti, who was reported missing Saturday after family members said they had not heard from him since Christmas night.

Logan Township police said Iannotti was last seen on December 26 around 12:45 p.m., when home security footage showed his black 1997 Jeep Wrangler leaving his driveway. Automated License Plate Reader data later recorded the vehicle eight minutes later near the intersection of Center Square Road and Heron Drive in Logan Township. He has not been seen or heard from since.

When officers conducted a well-being check at his residence, they found his phone on the couch but no signs of disturbance. Family members told investigators it was common for him to leave home without his phone. Police said his bank and credit accounts have shown no activity since before Christmas, and there is no record of his Jeep crossing any Delaware River bridges.

Iannotti is described as a white male, 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds, with gray and white hair. His Jeep bears New Jersey registration “RUNT 61.”

Authorities have entered both Iannotti and his vehicle into the National Crime Information Center as missing. While the case does not meet the criteria for a Silver Alert, police have coordinated with the Gloucester County Office of Emergency Response, the county’s LandSAR Unit, the New Jersey State Police Aviation Unit, and other local departments.

A helicopter search conducted on December 30 did not locate the vehicle, and another low-altitude flight is scheduled for January 2 as the search continues in areas Iannotti is known to frequent, including East Greenwich Township and Pitman.
