FALLS CHURCH, VA — A Washington, DC, man is celebrating a $150,000 Virginia Lottery win after purchasing a top-prize Scratch-Off ticket at a Falls Church convenience store.

The anonymous winner, who works as a driver, bought the winning Money Money Money Scratcher at the 7-Eleven located at 7451 Patterson Road.

After discovering he had won the game’s $150,000 top prize, the player told Virginia Lottery officials, “Finally! The luck came to me!”

The winner said he plans to use the prize money to finish building his house.

Money Money Money is a Virginia Lottery Scratcher game featuring prizes ranging from $5 to $150,000.

Lottery officials said this is the first top prize claimed in the game, leaving two $150,000 top prizes still available.

The odds of winning the game’s top prize are 1 in 979,200, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 4.06.

Virginia law allows Lottery winners to remain anonymous, and the Lottery did not release the winner’s identity.
