WASHINGTON, D.C.-President Donald J. Trump shared a Fox News report from August that exonerates him from claims made by former National Security Advisor John Bolton.

“GAME OVER!” he tweeted.

Democrats pressed for Bolton as a new witness in the impeachment trial of the President, but a vote on Friday to not call any further witnesses derailed both Bolton and the House and Senate Democrats pushing the impeachment process.  Bolton will not get his time on the Senate floor.

In a book written by Bolton, the former NSA advisor claims Trump asked Bolton to put pressure on Ukrainian officials to aid in his investigation of Hunter and Joe Biden’s dealings in Ukraine.

A 2019 Fox News interview with John Bolton tells a different story. That video is embedded below from the President’s tweet.
