EVESHAM TOWNSHIP, N.J. – A juvenile has been charged in connection with the theft of a BMW from a Marlton home after investigators executed a search warrant Friday at a residence in Camden, according to the Evesham Township Police Department.
Police said the BMW sedan was stolen overnight Aug. 1 from a residence on Thornwood Drive in Marlton. Investigators determined the people involved had traveled to the area in a Toyota sedan reported stolen from Moorestown and a Jeep SUV reported stolen from Gloucester Township.
- A juvenile was charged with third-degree receiving stolen property involving a motor vehicle.
- Police say the stolen BMW investigation was connected to other vehicles reported stolen from Moorestown and Gloucester Township.
- The case remains active, and investigators say additional charges may be filed.
The BMW had been left unlocked, police said.
Search Warrant Executed in Camden
On Sept. 4, members of the Evesham Township Police Department, New Jersey State Police TEAMS Unit, Camden County Police Department and Moorestown Police Department executed a search warrant at a home on Kearsarge Road in Camden.
Police said evidence connected to the investigation was recovered during the search.
A juvenile suspect was then charged with third-degree receiving stolen property involving a motor vehicle.
Because of the suspect’s age, police said no identifying information will be released.
Investigation Remains Active
The case is still under investigation, and police said more charges could follow.
The department did not say whether the BMW has been recovered or identify what evidence was seized at the Camden residence.
