Dorchester armed robbery leaves two victims injured, three suspects arrested after police sweep

BOSTON, MA – Two people were assaulted with bear spray, a rock, and a firearm during an armed robbery Wednesday afternoon in Dorchester, prompting a police sweep that ended with three arrests inside a nearby apartment.

Officers assigned to District C-11 responded to 7 Topliff Street at about 2:13 p.m. after receiving a radio call for an armed robbery. According to police, the victims had arrived at the address to drop off items when they were confronted and attacked by multiple individuals.

Victims assaulted with multiple weapons

Investigators said the victims were sprayed with bear spray and struck with a rock during the encounter. One suspect also allegedly hit a victim in the head with a firearm. Boston EMS responded to the scene, but both victims declined further medical treatment.

Police said the suspects fled into the building following the assault, leading officers to establish a perimeter around the location as the investigation unfolded.

Apartment sweep leads to arrests

Officers conducted a protective sweep of the building and focused on a specific apartment where the suspects were believed to be hiding. The individuals were located inside, and the residence was secured while police sought a search warrant.

Three suspects were taken into custody and are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.

Sebastian Fecu, 23, of Dorchester, faces a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Natalya Moore, 18, of Dorchester, is charged with three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and armed robbery.

Delroy Beckford, 33, of Boston, was also arrested. Police said Beckford had three active warrants for drug offenses, motor vehicle violations, and assault and battery charges.
