PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Group is investigating a shooting that left a man critically injured Wednesday afternoon inside a home on the 6000 block of Race Street in the city’s 19th District. Officers responded to the residence at approximately 1:24 p.m. and found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the face.
