Third-prize-winning Powerball ticket sold at Stewart’s Shops on Crystal Run Road
MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. — A Powerball ticket sold in Middletown is worth $50,000 after matching enough numbers in Wednesday’s drawing to secure a third-prize win, according to the New York Lottery.
The winning ticket was sold at Stewart’s Shops #0373, located at 150 Crystal Run Road in Middletown.
New York Lottery officials announced that the ticket was one of two third-prize-winning Powerball tickets sold in New York for the June 10 drawing. The Middletown ticket carried a prize value of $50,000.
Powerball players select numbers from a field of one to 69, while the red Powerball number is drawn separately from a field of one to 26.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
The New York Lottery reported that it contributed $3.6 billion during fiscal year 2024-2025 to support public schools throughout New York State.
