One lucky Powerball ticket sold in Bayside matched enough numbers to deliver a $50,000 prize in Saturday night’s drawing.

BAYSIDE, N.Y. — A Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold in Bayside for the Saturday, July 11 drawing, according to the New York Lottery.

The winning ticket was purchased at Stop & Shop, located at 213-15 26th Ave.

Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Players select five numbers from 1 through 69 and one Powerball number from 1 through 26.

The New York Lottery said the ticket was one of five third-prize-winning tickets worth $50,000 sold statewide for the July 11 drawing.
