NYPD Seeks Six Suspects After 74-Year-Old Man Robbed and Beaten in the Bronx

Police are asking for the public's help identifying six suspects accused of attacking a 74-year-old man before stealing his glasses outside a Southern Boulevard location.

BRONX, N.Y. – The NYPD is searching for six unidentified suspects wanted in connection with the robbery and assault of a 74-year-old man on Southern Boulevard in the Bronx.

According to the NYPD Crime Stoppers, the attack occurred Wednesday at approximately 2:06 p.m. in front of 991 Southern Boulevard. Investigators said the victim was approached by six individuals when one suspect pushed him to the ground before the group repeatedly punched and kicked him in the head and body.

Suspects fled on foot after robbery

Authorities said one of the suspects stole the victim’s pair of eyeglasses during the assault. The group then fled the scene on foot, traveling northbound on Aldus Street.

Police have not released descriptions of the suspects or provided information on the victim’s medical condition.
