AKRON, Ohio — A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a 24-year-old fugitive wanted on aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary charges, according to the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force.

Authorities are searching for Carlos Shropshire, 24, who is wanted by the Akron Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service.

Shropshire is described as a Black male who is approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds.

Investigators said he is known to frequent the Akron and Cleveland areas.

Anyone with information on Shropshire’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-4WANTED or submit a tip through the U.S. Marshals Service website. Tipsters may remain anonymous, and a reward is available for information leading to his capture.

Authorities did not disclose the amount of the reward.
