Police say suspects stole cash and marijuana products before fleeing on foot

BROOKLYN, NY — Police are searching for multiple suspects after an armed robbery at a Brooklyn business where a gunman allegedly threatened a store employee before the group escaped with cash and marijuana products.

The robbery occurred at approximately 10:40 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, inside a commercial establishment located at 265 Ashford Street in the confines of the NYPD’s 75th Precinct.

According to the New York City Police Department, one of the unidentified suspects pointed a black handgun at a 21-year-old male store employee and demanded money.

Investigators said the suspects stole approximately $800 in cash along with marijuana products before fleeing on foot northbound on Ashford Street.

No injuries were reported in the robbery.

The suspects remain unidentified, and detectives are asking the public to help identify those responsible.
