Queens, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an assault that left a 22-year-old man with a head injury in Queens.
According to the NYPD, the incident occurred at approximately 10:50 p.m. on Tuesday inside an apartment near the intersection of 89th Avenue and 118th Street within the confines of the 102nd Precinct.
Investigators said the victim became involved in a verbal dispute with an unidentified individual before the confrontation turned violent.
Victim suffered head laceration
Police said the suspect wrapped a metal bracelet around a fist before punching the victim in the head.
The victim sustained a laceration to his head as a result of the attack. The NYPD did not release additional information about his condition.
After the assault, the suspect fled the apartment and escaped in an unknown direction.

The NYPD released images of the suspect and is asking anyone who recognizes the individual or has information about the incident to come forward.

The individual depicted in the released images has not been convicted of a crime, and police are seeking to identify and locate the suspect as the investigation continues.
