Mobile Inspection Unit Coming to Rash Field
The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission’s mobile operation brings vehicle inspection services directly into communities, allowing motorists to handle an inspection closer to home.
“This is a convenient opportunity for residents to have their vehicles inspected without traveling to a state inspection facility,” Wall Township Police said in announcing Friday’s event.
The temporary inspection site will operate at Rash Field for four hours, beginning at 9 a.m. and concluding at 1 p.m.
Rash Field is located along Route 71 in Monmouth County, providing a central location for township residents who need to complete an inspection.
What Wall Township Drivers Need to Know
Drivers planning to use the mobile service should note the limited window. The event is scheduled for Friday only, with inspections ending at 1 p.m.
The township announcement did not specify whether appointments are required, what documentation motorists should bring or whether there are restrictions on the types of vehicles that can be inspected by the mobile unit.
Motorists with questions about eligibility or required documents should confirm those details with the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission before arriving rather than assuming the mobile location offers every service available at a full MVC facility.
The Wall Township Police Department promoted the event as a convenience for local motorists, saying residents can “stop by during the event hours to take advantage of this mobile service.”
