WASHINGTON, D.C. – DC police are asking the public to help identify persons of interest captured on surveillance video in connection with a June robbery on 9th Street in Northwest DC.
The robbery happened at approximately 9:15 p.m. June 20 in the 1900 block of 9th Street NW, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. Police said multiple suspects approached the victim, assaulted the person and took property before fleeing.
MPD released the appeal Monday, more than two months after the robbery. Investigators said persons of interest were captured by a nearby security camera and are asking anyone who recognizes them to contact police rather than approach them.
