BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ – Reverend Peter Miqueli, 57, was found dead in his Brick Township home on Cornell Drive by his brother this week. Miqueli was accused by his parishioners of stealing over $1,000,000 in funds from the parish and using that money to pay for male prostitutes and for the purchase of his Brick Township home, according to The New York Post. Brick Township police refused to comment on the case, saying the case is being handled by the county medical examiner.
Miqueli ran a church in the Bronx when five years ago, parishioners sued him. You can read the full story in the New York Post.
