MILTON, DE –  The annual tree lighting ceremony to be held in Milton on Friday has been canceled due to the state’s new outdoor COVID-19 gathering restrictions.

It’s with great sadness to announce the Annual Tree and Park Lighting event planned for this Friday is canceled,” the town manager said. “With the newly released State COVID restrictions, we are unable to enforce or monitor the 50 person limit for outdoor gatherings. Of course, the Tree and Park will still be lit beginning Friday, so feel free to take a stroll through the park for a little holiday cheer.”
