NEWARK, NJ – The Newark Police Department has released a photo of a suspect wanted for a shooting that took place on May 27th.
According to police, just before 7:50 p.m., Police responded to the 200 block of Clinton Place on a call of shots fired. A male fired a handgun at another male at the location.
“The suspect fled the scene heading northbound on Clinton Place, while the victim was last seen heading westbound on St. James Place. Responding officers located four spent shell casings at the scene. No injuries have been reported,” the Newark Police Department reported today.
Detectives investigating this incident seek the public’s help in identifying the suspect as part of their investigation.
