Woman Shot in Homestead, Police Investigating

HOMESTEAD, PA – Police are investigating after a woman was shot Monday night in Homestead. The Allegheny County Police Department’s General Investigations Unit responded to a request for assistance during the investigation.

According to police, at approximately 10:31 pm, County 9-1-1 was notified of a shooting in the 1200 block of Sarah Street.

“First responders found an adult female with a gunshot wound to her leg. The victim was treated at the scene by emergency medical personnel and in stable condition. ACPD General Investigations Unit detectives are initiating the investigation,” the Allegheny County Police Department reported.
