Prince George’s County Police Department Takes Over Temple Hills Murder Case

TEMPLE HILLS, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit has assumed the investigation into a shooting after a victim who was shot on August 14th has died from his injuries.

The victim was identified as 29-year-old Anton Meachum of Temple Hills.

According to police, on August 14, at approximately 3:00 am, patrol officers responded to the 2600 block of Colebrook Drive for the report of a shooting.

Meachum was discovered outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he died on August 29, 2022.

According to police investigating the incident, no suspects or motives have been announced at this time. No arrests have been made.
