PHILADELPHIA, PA – Police are on the lookup out for a man who has eluded arrest since September after he broke into the bedroom of a young girl in Philadelphia, rifled through her drawers and sexually assaulted her.
According to police, the incident that happened on September 21st has gone unsolved and today, the PPD released a video of the suspect in hopes that the public can help them to identify the perpetrator.
At around 10:30 PM, the unknown male gained entry to a private residence on the 2500 block of S. 3rd Street.
“While inside, the suspect entered the victim’s room, looking around with a flashlight and going through the dresser drawers.” the department said today. “The suspect then went to the victim, a 15-year-old-female, and sexually assaulted her.”
Police said the man left the home and was spotted by surveillance video cameras walking south on South Hancock Street.
The victim reported that the suspect also stole her wallet.
