Police searching for student who brought gun to Trenton Central High School, fled

TRENTON, NJ – Breion Crayton, a student at Trenton Central High School is now considered an armed and dangerous felon after he fled from a school resource officer who attempted to detain him.

According to police, on Wednesday, at around 1 pm. School Resource Officer, Detective Munn, responded to a report of a student on school property with a gun. That student was identified as Breion Crayton and Detective Munn moved quickly to investigate.

The school was placed on a shelter-in-place lockdown in an effort to isolate the suspect. Crayton struggled with Munn and was able to break free as the two struggled for the student’s bookbag, containing a loaded gun.

Police were unable to locate Crayton after a search of the surrounding area. He is considered armed and dangerous. Police are advising the members of the community to not engage directly with the fugitive suspect.
