NYC subway attacker put gun to victim’s head during robbery

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is searching for a robbery suspect that put a gun to his victim’s head inside a Bronx subway station.

According to the New York City Police Department, on Sunday, at around 3:45 am, the male suspect, unknown to his victim, approached a 27-year-old man and asked him for money inside the Morrison Avenue-Soundview subway station.

“When the victim stated he didn’t have money, the individual followed him to the southbound #6 train platform,” the NYPD said in a statement. “The individual then threw the victim to the ground while kicking and punching the victim in the face and body.”

At that time, a second unknown male approached and displayed a black firearm while placing it against the victim’s head.

Police said the individual with the firearm removed the victim’s wallet from his pants pocket. Both suspects exited the station and fled in an unknown direction.
