COLUMBIA, MD – A Maryland man is celebrating once again after winning a prize over $50,000 for the fourth time in the Maryland Lottery.

Lottery officials say Kenneth Weinberg is a familiar face at the agency’s Baltimore headquarters. Once again, he visited to claim a $50,000 top prize in the $50,000 Cash instant lottery ticket.

According to the Maryland lottery, “The Howard County man is semi-retired, working as an advocate for a counseling group. He buys scratch-offs just about every day.

Kenneth told Lottery officials. “I’ve been very lucky with the Lottery,” he reports. Kenneth also lists a $100,000 prize on his Lottery resume. “I’ve been doing well these last few weeks with $50,000 Cash. When I stopped by the Royal Farms in Elkridge, that’s what I played.”

After scanning the ticket, the lottery winning veteran knew the prize was too big for the local vendor to cash it out.

The ticket was sold at Royal Farms at 8268 Lark Brown Drive in Elkridge.

This time, he plans on investing some of his winnings into some home remodeling projects.

In the weeks since the game went on sale, the $50,000 Cash scratch-off has risen to the sixth spot on the Lottery’s Top 40 Scratch-offs list. Most $20 scratch-off games list a handful of top prizes while this game debuted with 160. Kenneth’s $50,000 score leaves 129 top prizes remaining and 143 unclaimed second-tier $5,000 prizes.
