Suspect Arrested for Murder After Stabbing Incident in Bensonhurst Apartment

BROOKLYN, NY – On Wednesday, at approximately 7:24 am, police responded to a 911 call reporting a stabbing incident inside an apartment at 1973 81 Street in Bensonhurst.

Upon arrival, officers discovered 58-year-old Behor Mushiev with multiple stab wounds on his body.

 Emergency Medical Services responded to the location and pronounced Mushiev deceased.

A knife was recovered, and a 62-year-old male, Lennur Mamutov, was taken into custody on the scene. Mamutov has been charged with Murder and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.

The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
