NEW YORK, NY – An off-duty firefighter from the New York City Fire Department was arrested and charged with assault early Sunday morning.
The firefighter, identified as 36-year-old Ricardo Hernandez, was taken into custody at 2:49 am in Staten Island.
The charges against Hernandez are related to an alleged assault, though law enforcement officials have not released further details about the incident.
