Cherry Hill police warn of surge in residential burglaries

Cherry Hill Township, NJ – The Cherry Hill Police Department has recently reported a surge in residential burglaries in various parts of the township. As law enforcement officers continue to investigate these crimes and increase their patrols in the affected neighborhoods, residents are advised to follow safety tips to secure their homes and vehicles against burglary attempts.

In order to prevent burglaries, residents are recommended to: • Remove all valuables including keys from their vehicles and properties • Lock vehicle doors • Lock all windows and doors of their homes • Turn on exterior lights and activate alarms and security systems • Ensure garages and sheds are locked and secured

Residents are also reminded not to post their vacation plans or expensive purchases on social media platforms.
