PHILADELPHIA, PA- The Philadelphia Police Department has issued an appeal to the public for assistance in locating a missing nine-year-old child, Mekhyal Allen-McGill. The young boy was last seen on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at approximately 1:30 pm, near the 400 block of East Washington Lane.
Mekhyal Allen-McGill is described as 4’2″ tall and weighing approximately 60 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a distinctive ensemble consisting of a black skull cap adorned with a panda design, a grey fleece hooded sweatshirt, navy sweatpants, and white high-top Reebok sneakers.
Authorities have requested that individuals with knowledge about the missing child contact the Northwest Detective Division at 215-686-3353. In the case of an emergency or immediate sighting, it is advised to dial 911 promptly.
