OCEAN CITY, MD – The Ocean City Police Department is investigating a reported theft at a local church.

A statue of Mary, described as three feet tall and heavy, was stolen from a church near 17th Street and Philadelphia Ave on the night of Monday.

Individuals with information about this theft or who observed suspicious activity near Kingfish Ave and 17th Street are asked to contact Ofc. R Walker at Rwalker@oceancitymd.gov, or call the Ocean City Police Department at 410-723-6610.
